Meeting sources
Granola does not connect to Jira or Linear on its own. The usual workaround is a Zapier automation or a community script that copies action items over as bare one-liners. Spectr connects to Granola directly and does the harder part: it reads the note and the transcript, pulls out requirements, bugs and decisions as separate items, and writes a story with acceptance criteria for each requirement and bug.
How Granola fits in
A call is imported from Granola. Spectr picks out a requirement, a bug, an action item and an out-of-scope ask, and drafts a story and a bug with acceptance criteria. A person approves both, they are published to the team's tracker (Jira, Linear, or Shortcut), and the requirements, scope log and project memory update from the same call.
API key from Granola, available on its Business and Enterprise plans. Paste it into the Spectr project that should read your notes.
Granola gates API access by plan, so a Granola Business or Enterprise subscription is required to connect.
Generate an API key in Granola (Business or Enterprise plan).
Go to the Spectr project's Integrations tab and choose Granola.
Paste the key. If it does not work, Spectr says so the first time it lists your notes.
Use Import meeting to pick notes from your Granola library.
Process the notes, go through the drafted stories, and publish the ones you approve.

No. Spectr talks to Granola and to Linear, Jira and Shortcut directly. There is no Zap, no polling script, and no local cache to watch.
A Zap moves text. Spectr reads the whole note and transcript, pulls out requirements, bugs and decisions as separate structured items, gathers context from your Notion, Figma and GitHub, and writes a story with acceptance criteria for each - which a person then approves or rejects.
Granola issues API keys only on its Business ($14 per user a month, October 2026) and Enterprise plans. Spectr cannot read notes on a plan that has no API.
Spectr imports the text of a meeting from Granola: the enhanced note and the transcript. It never imports audio or video. The text is stored encrypted on AWS in the US and used only inside the project you imported it into, and Spectr does not train any AI model on it. Deleting a meeting in Spectr archives it; to have it removed completely, email hello@crowdlinker.com.
