Granola to Linear
Right now, getting Granola notes into Linear means a Zapier automation or a community script that watches Granola's local cache. Spectr replaces both. It talks to Granola and Linear directly, reads the whole note and transcript, pulls out a structured spec, and drafts a proper Linear-ready story for each item with acceptance criteria, priority and an estimate.
How it works
A call is imported from Granola. Spectr picks out a requirement, a bug, an action item and an out-of-scope ask, and drafts a story and a bug with acceptance criteria. A person approves both, they are published to Linear, and the requirements, scope log and project memory update from the same call.
A Granola API key on one side and Linear OAuth on the other, with the Linear team picked in Spectr once you are back. Nothing runs on your laptop, and no Zap polls for new notes.
Granola's API comes with its Business and Enterprise plans only. Linear needs no particular plan, but each Spectr project publishes to a single Linear team, so pick the team that owns the work.
The scripts and Zaps that fill this gap all work the same way: one action item becomes one thin issue, straight away, unreviewed. That is a to-do list in Linear, not a backlog. Spectr reads the note alongside the Notion docs, Figma files and repos you pinned, so the story names your real features and the code that already exists. A parent task's stories get nested under one parent issue, and the whole set lands on a review page.
Spectr pulls the Granola note and its transcript in one go, so a requirement is read in the words it was raised in and not only in the summary's shorter retelling of it.
A note mixes everything said in the meeting. Spectr separates requirements, bugs, decisions and action items before drafting, and a decision is recorded on the spec sheet rather than turned into a Linear issue nobody can work on.
On the review page you approve drafts one at a time or in bulk, editing any of them first. Each story in Spectr links to the Linear issue it became.
In Spectr, open the project you want to connect and go to Integrations.
In Granola, generate an API key (Business or Enterprise plan required).
Choose Granola and paste the key.
Choose Linear, click Connect, and authorise on Linear.
Select the Linear team new issues should be created in.

Approve the drafts from the Granola note and publish. They land in your Linear team, with a parent task's stories grouped under one parent issue.

No - you choose which notes to import. Not every recorded call is project work, and a queue that fills itself is a queue nobody trusts.
