Fireflies.ai to Shortcut
Spectr reads a Fireflies meeting's recap and transcript, works out which parts are requirements, bugs, decisions or action items, and drafts a Shortcut story with acceptance criteria and an estimate for each requirement and bug.
How it works
A call is imported from Fireflies.ai. Spectr picks out a requirement, a bug, an action item and an out-of-scope ask, and drafts a story and a bug with acceptance criteria. A person approves both, they are published to Shortcut, and the requirements, scope log and project memory update from the same call.
Fireflies issues an API key from its Integrations page and Shortcut an API token from your account settings. Paste both into the Spectr project. Neither side needs an OAuth approval.
Any Fireflies plan works. In Shortcut, you can set a default team and starting workflow state after connecting.
A long planning meeting can produce dozens of stories. Spectr publishes them to Shortcut one at a time and shows each one's result, so if one fails you see which one and retry it alone.
A Fireflies key returns the meetings its owner recorded or can open, so connect the key of whoever records the project's calls. Meetings shared with that account show up too.
Fireflies offers its API on every plan, so a team trying Spectr does not need to upgrade Fireflies first. Plan or credit limits on the Fireflies side are reported as exactly that, never as a broken key.
When you refresh story status, Spectr reads whether each story has started or completed in Shortcut, so what the board says is finished is what Spectr reports as finished.
In Spectr, open the project you want to connect and go to Integrations.
In Fireflies, create an API key from the Fireflies API page under Integrations.
Choose Fireflies and paste the key.
In Shortcut, create an API token from your account settings.
Choose Shortcut and paste the token, then optionally set a default team and starting workflow state.
Import a meeting from Fireflies.ai. Spectr gathers project context, extracts a structured spec, and drafts a story for each requirement and bug.
Approve the set and publish. Stories go to Shortcut one at a time, each with its own result, so any that fail can be retried on their own.

Fireflies creates a Shortcut task for each action item it finds. Spectr reads the whole meeting, drafts stories for its requirements and bugs with acceptance criteria, an estimate and the right story type.
The default team you set under Story defaults, starting in the workflow state set there. Without a default, stories are created without a team.
